"Don Juan" by Baron George Gordon Byron is a satirical epic poem written between 1819 and 1824. This unfinished work reimagines the legendary Spanish seducer as a young man easily seduced by women rather than the traditional womanizer. Told across sixteen cantos in ottava rima verse, the poem follows Juan's adventures from a scandalous affair in Seville through shipwreck, slavery, war, and romance across Europe and Russia.
