"The guide for the perplexed" by Moses Maimonides is a work of Jewish theology written between 1185 and 1190. Originally composed in Judeo-Arabic, it attempts to reconcile Aristotelian philosophy with Jewish theology by finding rational explanations for biblical events and passages.
