"The Hunting of the Snark: An Agony in Eight Fits" by Lewis Carroll is a nonsense poem written between 1874 and 1876. A crew of ten peculiar characters embarks on an absurd quest to hunt the mysterious Snark, guided only by a blank map. When one crew member finally discovers their quarry, he vanishes without a trace, confirming their darkest fears.
